I can't believe it's already 5 days into July! I'm a little late for this month's Desktop Calender, but it's better late than never. How did everyone enjoy their 4th of July holiday? I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday. This weekend we're headed down to San Diego for a dear friend's wedding. I'm pretty excited to be getting out of town and not to work this weekend, like we normally do... But I think I will have to work on some items for pinktea6 on the car ride there... heheh... It's a good thing I'm not driving!
I hope you like this month's calender. I thought it felt like summer. What do you think?

Any DIY projects, you loved the most? Updating my mother’s dress to make it my own, but still preserving its originality. My wedding dress was the dress my mother made for herself and wore for her wedding almost 43 years ago. There were bows on the front and back I removed and replaced with a brown sash, and I slit the sleeves open on the bottom underside. Other than that, it was a perfect fit! I’m the third person to wear the dress—my mother wore it first, a young lady wore it in a fashion show about 20 years ago, and I wore it last month.
Special thanks to Dorian and David for sharing their special day with us!
I decided to start posting color inspiration photos. The color blocks, shown at the bottom would make a lovely color palette for a wedding, don't you think? A soft hue of pink, matched with pastel greens would be lovely together at a wedding. To also make the wedding 'pop' a little bit, why not add some hot pink color for a little excitement! sounds adorable to me.
This photo was taken on my vacation in Korea. I absolutely love this photograph, and am quite proud of that fact that I shot it! all by myself! :)
Holy moly, the month went by fast! Hello June Bloom! Not much posting for the month of May, work has been way to busy. This is pretty sad, because I have plenty of cool topics to blog about, but there is just no time! Of course, there will always be time for cute desktop wallpaper, so enjoy it!
My friends over at Traveling Bites sent me these photos last night. I love these Tarts! they were homemade by Rosemarie's Boyfriend Thomas. Don't the look fantastically delicious??? Yum! I also loved how the used the cutting board I got them for Christmas as a display item in the photo as well. Maybe these photos will inspire some dessert tables/buffets for future weddings, parties and special events. Enjoy!
My sweet coworker Dorian recently got married, to her boyfriend David in San Francisco (in April). When I saw her wedding photos, I just said "Awe." Her wedding seemed so endearing and loving. Dorian and David had an small and intimate ceremony at a lovely backyard of a family member. Dorian's Wedding showcase will be posted soon, but for now here is a sneak peek.

We're currently still working on the blog design, but we are pretty much finished. And we updated our shop: Bridewell Market . What do you think about the new re-branding?
To Celebrate the new name, May's free desktop wallpaper download is brand with our new logo. Hope you enjoy it!
This past weekend, my friend Charissa (newly engaged!) came down to visit for the weekend. While she was here we went to back to back, Bridal Salon appointments. Shopping for a wedding dress is just about the best day ever (even if its not for yourself)! I know that some girls don't like to shop for wedding dresses, but lets be honest. If you are reading a wedding inspiration blog, you're probably not one of those girls. heheh...
Anyhow, we were able to take photos at two of the bridal salons, so here we go:
We went to a Bridal Salon is called
, in West Hollywood. Its such a cute store, if any bride is in the LA area, I suggest you go there. Run Now! hehe.. Below are some photos of the shop. This shop makes me want to get married all over again, just so I can buy another wedding dress!
We also went to
in Los Angeles, to try on more wedding dresses of course! Having J. Crew Wedding dress just spells Charissa in every way. If any brides are looking at J. Crew for the wedding dress solutions, but wish to try on the dress before deciding, I suggest purchasing the dress to try it on. You can order their wedding dresses online, and it ships within just a few days. J. Crew dresses really do look quite lovely in real life.

This past weekend, I got to see a dear old friend Alicia, it so happens that I just received Alicia and Justin's (the fiance) wedding invitation! Isn't it so adorable! I really like the embossing detail and the black scroll frame. Justin's aunt handmade every invitations. Isn't that the perfect wedding gift ever? It's a totally unique & lovely wedding invitation, yet at the same time, it was one less task for Alicia and Justin to worry about while planning the wedding.
This reminds of Alicia and Justin's engagement party a few months ago. It was a sweet family and friends gathering at the prettiest backyard ever! Here's a few photos I took on my iPhone:
Some of you may remember the 'Season of Love' post, I wrote a few months ago. This couple's engagement has made me most excited, because Jordan is my cousin! I just love weddings, especially when its a wedding of a dear loved one. I really am just counting down the days to the wedding along with the bride and groom.
James and Jordan met while studying at Santa Clara University Law School, which is pretty adorable, that they're both lawyers! It's funny though, because James and Jordan actually went to the UC Berkeley for their undergraduate program as well. However the two love birds didn't meet until they attended law school. In a few months I get to attend Jordan's Bridal Shower, it's a garden party themed shower, which is just about all the fun that a wedding blogger can have! Am I right? Pretty darn excited.

Soon in the Shop, we'll be offering custom and ready-to-ship stamps on our store envy + etsy shops. This isn't your regular grandmother's stamp. It's not a rubber stamp, but instead a flash stamp. It will be offered in a pre-inked stamp, in the ink colors of black, red and blue. These stamps have a much more even ink distribution/stamp impressions, and can last to up to: 20,000 impressions. We are very excited about this new business adventure! So many possibilities to come! :) We received our new stamp equipment and supplies this week, and today was the first day we got to experiment and make samples. To start, we made a Wedding Day Tree QR Code Stamp. It was kinda fun to create the sample stamps. We cannot wait to add them to the shop!
Here a video we took on our iPhone to test the stamp:
